Admission Requirements:
An applicant must:
- Have a high school education or equivalent with at least 4
units in any combination of the following:
- Algebra I
- Geometry
- Algebra II
- Mechanical/Drawing
- Vocational/Technical Education or Computer Science
- Advanced Mathematics
- Chemistry
- Physics
- Principles of Technology
(Please Note: Meeting the minimum requirements specified above does not ensure selection.)
- Be physically able to perform the essential duties of the trade requested or assigned.
- Have a background which will allow the individual to be issued a government-furnished security clearance.
- Be at least 18 years of age. High school seniors may apply before reaching age 18 through the early admission program.
Admission Process:
- After you have acknowledgment that we received your completed
Application Questionnaire, please have official high school
transcripts and official transcripts from all post-secondary
institutions you have attended forwarded from those institutions
directly to the Admissions Office.
- Every application will be reviewed. On a competitive basis,
selected qualified applicants will be invited for a personal
interview.
- Candidates to whom an offer is extended will be scheduled for
a medical examination that includes a substance abuse screening
test administered by the company's Medical Department. Employment
will be contingent on the results of the medical examination.
- Candidates to whom an offer is extended will be subject to a
background check to determine their eligibility to qualify for a
security clearance. Employment will be contingent on the
information provided from the background check.
- Monthly selection meetings are held at which all qualified
applicants are considered for available openings. Offers are
extended to applicants whom the Admissions Office determines to be
best qualified for the openings available. Admission is
competitive, with more qualified persons applying than the number
of openings available. Meeting the minimum requirements specified
above, therefore, does not ensure selection.
